Sproul Company Selected for TEK Microsystems SBANE Matching Grant

TEK Microsystems, Inc. (Tekmicro) has selected The Sproul Company (TSC) to assist with business development strategy, sales, and prospecting for Tekmicro products and services. Tekmicro will fund these activities by leveraging an award from the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) Manufacturing Matching Grant Program.

TSC will provide Tekmicro services in three areas:

  • Business Development – Maximize revenue by expanding existing services and introducing new ones.
  • Growth Strategy – Enter new markets or create new products and services to accelerate growth.
  • Optimize Sales Processes – Institute sales methodologies and approaches to support company goals.

TSC has been active in the defense industry and marketplace for decades and will help Tekmicro quickly identify opportunities and expand our revenue pipeline,” said William Ceccherini, General Manager, TEK Microsystems, Inc. “TSC is expert at minimizing barriers to success which is critical for the account development effort.”

Currently in its 9th year, SBANE’s Manufacturing Matching Grant Program is an opportunity for small and medium-sized Massachusetts-based manufacturers to hire private consulting expertise to assist with finance, marketing, accounting, government procurement and other business tasks. This competitive, one-time matching grant program is funded through an appropriation in the state budget and is overseen by the Massachusetts Office of Business Development.

“This program truly sets us apart,” said SBANE President Karim Hill. “This year alone we are supporting over 1400 jobs in the Commonwealth as companies like TEK Microsystems make necessary improvements to their business operations.”

TSC has over 25 years of experience working in business development for technology-driven companies in fast-changing, dynamic markets. To address the challenges of climate change and improve urban mobility, TSC spearheads events, initiatives, and innovation in the urban mobility and connected autonomous vehicle (CAV) segments. TSC leads the Rapid Autonomous Mobility Pilot Project (RAMPP), which seeks to address the challenges of urban mobility by sponsoring pilot projects in the field of connected, autonomous vehicles.
